Island Ink-Jet is offering FREE Ink Cartridge Refills on Earth day April 22nd. To find a store in your area just scroll down a little on their website and there is a list of locations.
From their site: Each year over 375 million empty ink and toner cartridges are thrown away to sit in the world’s landfills for the next 1000 years. In addition to the waste generated, fossil fuels are also consumed during the manufacturing process of the original cartridges and amount to more than three quarts of oil for every new toner cartridge and three ounces of oil for every ink cartridge. Using refilled and recycled cartridges can reduce our oil consumption by millions of gallons annually. The process works – our clients have refilled well over 10 million cartridges within our stores to date. Through refilling you are making a difference.
