Burger King, the world’s No. 2 hamburger chain, launched Canada’s version of the reduced-fat French fries on Wednesday following a similar rollout in the U.S. on Tuesday. In English Canada, these crinkly-cut fries are called Gratifries, while in Quebec they’re called Magnifries. In the U.S., they are called Satisfries.
In Canada a free sampling promotion will be launched for a limited time. Those interested can sample these french fries free on four consecutive Fridays from noon to 2 p.m., on Oct. 11, Oct. 18, Oct. 25 and Nov. 1.
